Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Alex Renovation’s website and remodeling services. Please review them carefully before requesting work or sharing project information. If you disagree with any provision, discontinue use immediately.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, requesting an estimate, or entering into a service agreement you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, authorized to engage the property, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and project-specific contracts.

2. Estimates & Scope

Written proposals describe scope, materials, payment schedule, and exclusions. Estimates are valid for 30 days and subject to change if material pricing, supply availability, or site conditions differ from the assumptions provided.

3. Deposits & Payment

Deposits are non-refundable once materials are ordered. Progress invoices must be paid within the agreed net terms. Late balances may accrue interest, suspend work, or result in mechanics liens as permitted by New York law.

4. Changes & Delays

Change orders must be approved in writing and may affect cost and timeline. We are not liable for delays caused by severe weather, permitting authorities, supply shortages, customer inaction, or hidden site conditions.

5. Warranty & Liability

Workmanship is warranted for one (1) year unless otherwise stated. Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied products. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific project phase in dispute. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

6. Safety & Access

Clients must maintain safe site access, provide accurate utility locations, and secure pets/valuables. We reserve the right to stop work if unsafe conditions or code violations are discovered until mitigated at the client’s expense.

7. Intellectual Property

All design concepts, renderings, photographs, and content on this site remain our intellectual property. You may not copy or distribute them without written consent, except for project documentation supplied for your records.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate upon material breach and failure to cure within ten (10) days of written notice. Client remains responsible for work performed, specially ordered materials, and demobilization costs up to the termination date.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute will first attempt good-faith mediation in Monroe County. If unresolved, the matter will be submitted to binding arbitration or litigation in the appropriate state court.

10. Contact

For questions about these Terms, contact [email protected] or call +1 (585) 472-5795. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.

Alex Renovation may modify these Terms to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory updates. Revised terms become effective upon posting. Continued engagement constitutes acceptance of the changes.
